I've deactivate facebook before and I've had many good reasons
but I am always talked into getting it back.
Friday I decided to deactivate it for good and for no super great reason,
other than for me, it's a waste of time.
My thinking was valid and it's not like it was an irrational thing to do.
I mean it's just facebook, right?
...
I thought that maybe
I would get a lot more reading done.
maybe more blog posts?
time doing things that I just "don't" have time for.
...ya right.
So my facebook replacement has been online shopping.
I have issues. This was never in the plan. What is my problem?
I truly believe that
we make time for those things in our life that we want in our life.
So, I've made some new goals.
I l.o.v.e. making goals. For real.
Try it.
and remember,
A goal unwritten is merely a wish.
Write it down.
Check it off.
It feels great.

After what just happened I may be following your example. And ya, online shopping... It's a wonderful yet terrible thing. Haha!
Good for you girl - I agree Fbook is a waste but love it!
hahahahahaa. Kelsey you are seriously the b.e.s.t--only online shopping isn't that great because you have to wait for it and you cant try it on....
woah creepy! i sent cara a post card with that quote on it! woahhhhhhhh
You make me laugh! I love you. So proud of you for getting ride of the fb. Such a waste of time.
I totally just read Ally's blog post about you deactivating your facebook yesterday! I've always wanted to try it, because similar to you, I think that I would get a lot of other (more important) things done. I just can't get myself to do it, though! I keep on thinking, what if someone needs to get a hold of me? But in reality, everyone who will need to get a hold of me, already has my number/email. haha! Yeah, I just can't let go.
But I'm really proud of you for doing so! Best of luck with online shopping! If I didn't have such an issue with paying for shipping/handling, I think I'd online shop any day over Facebooking! :)
XO,
SSDS
